We are a registered Charity and a Company limited by guarantee whose aim is to supply a free, independent, confidential and impartial service of advice, information and counsel for the public.
How are we governed?
We are governed by a board of Trustees/Directors who are elected by our members at the Annual General Meeting.
Who can become a member?
Any individual over the age of 18 years who is interested in furthering the work of the charity and who is not a paid staff member of Citizens Advice Gosport. Download the Application form here as a Adobe Reader portable document.

Is there a fee to join?
Membership is FREE although as we are a company limited by guarantee there is a requirement that, in the unlikely event that the charity were to close down and could not pay its debts, all members would be required to contribute £1.
Why should you join?
As a member you will be able to nominate Trustees or stand for election as a Trustee at General Meetings. You will also be able to speak at General Meetings and influence our priorities.
How do I join?
Complete the application form, and return to Citizens Advice Gosport at Martin Snape House, 96 Pavillion Way, Gosport PO12 1GE. Membership will commence after approval by the Trustees at their next meeting.
